This is Kayla's new pet. We were out running errands, and she picked out her fish all by herself. She's responsible for feeding it, and taking care of it (how hard can that be??) I think it will be really great to see her take care of something, and to learn responsibility. I hope Frank is around for a while!

Finally...
My poor little guy! He has been sick for days, and has been so sad! He hasn't been eating, sleeping, and just hasn't been himself. After a few days of crankiness, I took him in to the Dr. and he is on his second sinus infection. He started his medicine today and I finally got my baby back! He started smiling and he even cuddled with me for a while. A rarity! Any thoughts or prayers for his recovery would be appreciated!! He's having a tough time, and if he continues to have the infections, we may need to consider some treatment options including a sinus surgery. Let's hope that it doesn't come down to that and he will heal soon and never have another one again!
Thank You.
To our Family. You all are awesome and made this Christmas so great for the kids! Kayla had so much fun opening all the presents and can't decide what she wants to play with first! She loves all her toys so so so much! And Brayden had a great time too. (Hard to tell, I know!) He is having a blast exploring his toys and trying to figure out how they work. And each and every outfit is to die for. So. Cute! Thanks again, they really enjoyed themselves this year. We are so blessed to have you in our family!!! We are thankful for all of you!

Kayla's School Party
At pre-school , Kayla's class had a Happy Birthday Jesus Party. They had a pizza party, sang happy birthday to Jesus and then had cupcakes. She decorated a beautiful cross that we are displaying proudly here at home. She also made a Christmas card, that made me cry, it was very sweet. It was a bitter sweet day as one of her teachers Ms. Natasha will be leaving to teach Spanish to the older kids, and when Kayla returns from the holiday break she will have a new teacher. We've met her, she seems very nice and Kayla will still have Ms. Lana.
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Our friend Kimberley hosted a "Happy Birthday Jesus" Party for the girls. It was so much fun! They decorated cookies, listened to the Christmas story, played with the Fisher Price manger and baby Jesus and had birthday cake! It really was really special to teach them about the birth of Jesus and why we celebrate Christmas, they were excited and I think they learned a lot. Thank you so much Kimberley!

Go Cowboys!! (Sort of.)
Daddy has taught her well. Too bad they LOST!!!!
:-(...........This is my sad face. DEFEAT. C'mon Boys. The EAGLES.
**shaking head**
Dad, don't call me. :-)
Kayla-isims
Trying to do one thing.... completely on her own agenda. But Holy cow, she actually listens to me! (On the why we celebrate Christmas and even corrects my grammar!)
Two of a Kind
Cutest Fat Baby EVER
It really isn't. He's *this* close to sitting up and already trying to crawl. :-(
I adore him! We haven't had him weighed lately, (but had many Dr trips) so I'm "guessing" he's around 24 lbs? He started eating solids, cereal and baby foods. He hasn't been doing so well in the health department though, with the teething he's been having a really hard time. And there is still no hard evidence of a tooth yet. He got a really bad cold and then it turned into croup. Kayla had it when she was younger, about a year and half and never had it that bad. If you've ever been around croup, you understand it can be terrifying. So sad someone so little has to go through that. Absolutely heartbreaking. He's been on steroids (YEA!) and hasn't had an episode yet, so hopefully it's over with. We're still co-sleeping, I know. I know. I need to let go, but it is so very hard. He's got me so wrapped around his finger.
-So now your caught up! :)
