Good Times

Kayla and I played in rain today, it was a blast!!

Kayla counts to 10!

This was a big moment! She has been trying to count to ten for months now, but skipped numbers, got her sequence mixed up, but she finally got it! And she couldn't be more proud of herself. Yay Kayla!

Poor Teddy

For 2 years and 2 months, this bear has been with Kayla. It has been dragged to every place we have ever been, lost countless times ( always with a miraculous finding ) I don't need to tell you it's filthy. No matted how many ''baths" I give it, or how many times I try and hide it from Kayla, she loves this stinkin' bear. Sooner or later she will have to give this precious treasure up. Soon she will be 2 1/2 and she can't take him everywhere. I was hoping it would help me potty train her. That would be my genius idea to put the underwear on it to show Kayla that even the bear has to be a ''big bear'' and to use the potty. She just thought it was funny her bear was wearing Curious George underwear... nice try mom.

Jesus Loves Me

This isn't her best by far, she harldly even sang the song but she was cracking. me. up.

Mommy Time

I really don't think I could love my kiddos any more than I do. Granted, I do have a newborn that screams his head off for no reason and wakes me up every hour at night but I adore him. His little fat rolls everywhere, how could you not? And my two year old... that should speak for itself. Tantrums over an empty juice cup and being upset about feeding the dog all her cheerios. But I love her to death, she cracks me up on a daily basis and I enjoy seeing her become the beautiful girl she is becoming every day. Call me crazy, most days I wish I could keep them both at the age they are now.

So you think you can dance?

I don't know how we got into the show, but we did. Every night Kayla would ask me, "Dance? Dancing show??" And we would watch it together. She would try and imitate everything that she saw on TV, pretty funny. Now that the show is over, (she's heartbroken, btw) she will do random dance moves all over the place. I wonder wear she got her dancing skills from? Daddy??

Pretty Pretty Princess

Kayla wanted to play dress up. Today she's a fairy princess.

Awww...

Daddy and daughter... how sweet!

Thank Goodness

For friends and play zones. Kayla and her best friend Maddie have had a blast this summer. We both would have gone crazy if it weren't for Maddie and her mommy. Meredith will be having a boy in November, so our little guys can be the best of friends too! Love ya Mere! :-)

"So cool, I gotta wear shades."

I can't forget about my little princess. She starts school in two weeks. I have a lot of mixed feelings. I'm anxoius for her, I want her to have a good teacher and have a positive experience at school. I think it will be amazing for her to have all her friends, learn, all in a Christian enviornment. It's bitter sweet for me, but I know she will love it. We'll have to wait and see who cries first on her first day.

I really can't stand it

How much I love this adorable fat kid! I always said I wanted a fat baby, and I got him! He's gained 4 lbs since birth, and he's only 6 weeks old! I had to put away all his 0-3 outfits the other day which made me a little sad. My little man is already growing up!

Big Sister

Alan and I were worried about how Kayla would welcome the new baby. She's always had us to her herself and gotten all the attention. With the exception of a few outbursts, she has been fabulous! We really could not have asked for her to be any better, she loves giving "baby brawa tisses" and she's quite good at it! He doesn't seem to mind much.

July 13 2007

Our big sweet boy finally makes his entrance to the world! Born at 12:14 a.m. weighing a whopping 9lbs 1oz... he was well worth the weight. :-)
