Bumbo Seat

Alan got Brady this little seat that sits him up, it's so neat!! He loves it. He looks so grown up sitting up on his own. Big sis likes it too.

Here He is.....

All 15 1/2 pounds of him!! Bray had his 2 month check up today and I don't believe it, he's already 15 1/2
pounds!! At 2 months, he weighs half as much as Kayla!! He's in the top percentile of all his stats... I love my big boy!! There's so much of him!

Kayla's First Day

Ah... the dreaded moment. First day of school. I had a sick feeling driving to school and dropping her off. She walked in all by herself, with a few tears of course. She absolutely loves her teachers, she's been talking about "Tasha" and "Lana" all day! She did great and has been in the best mood all day. it was great for Bray and I also, we got to spend the day together. I am so excited for her and for all the things we have to look forward to! :-)

:-(

I thought with having a boy, he'd be the first to get stitches. Kayla proved me wrong. She tripped and hit her face on the coffee table and her tooth went through her lip!! We took her to the ER where she got two stitches. She did great though, all things considered.

Meet The Teacher Night

Tonight we went to a meeting at Stonebriar for Kayla's preschool. We got to meet her teachers and see her classroom. It is such a relief, I was so nervous to see who would be caring for and teaching her all year. Turns out I know one of the teachers and she's super sweet. Miss Natasha and Miss DeLana will be her teachers and I'm sure she will love them!! We go up to the church on Thursday morning for an open house so Kayla can meet her teachers and friends and see her classroom. I am so excited, I think this is going to be so wonderful for her.

My big girl!

Kayla is such a big girl now!
She is doing such a great job in her
new bed, I expected to find her sleeping on the floor for a while, but from the very first night she has loved it! She cries at the door for a minute, and then gives up crawls into bed, pulls up the covers and crashes out. She also got a big girl toddler seat for car too. Go Kayla!!

My big boy

Hopscotch Kayla

Today I tried to teach Kayla hopscotch. She did pretty well, she's always been a jumper!

Another Awww Moment

Isn't that sweet?

:-(

This is my sad face. This week we have parent orientation and meet the teacher night for my little girl. Kayla will start school in two weeks. It's not even 'real' school, it's a MDO program she will go to twice a week for five hours each day. I will still have to pack her lunch each day, and send her off with her backpack and nap mat. I can't wait to meet Kayla's teacher and see what her classroom environment will be. I am so excited for her to make her new friends and to learn all she will learn. I love that she will be in a christian environment and learn about Jesus every day she goes. I have been trying to prepare her the best I can, we'll have to wait and see how it goes. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, it will be an exciting as well as challenging week.
