Tis the season!

My favorite time of year! I got this santa suit for Brady from a friend of mine and couldn't resist. We took our pictures for our Christmas cards also. I think they came out really well! You should be getting one shortly. :)

Kayla's sick day

Well, after I swore Kayla didn't look right on Sunday, she woke up with pink eye the next morning. Since I didn't get her to the Dr. until late Tuesday afternoon, she had to stay home from school today. (24 hours of antibiotics) Anyway, we had fun we got to make all kinds of arts and crafts. She made Christmas cards and her and Brayden made little angels to send to friends and family. They are soooo cute!! If you're lucky, you might get one! We also did snowflakes and lots of crafts from hand prints. Our house is nicely decorated now for the holidays. :)

Thanksgiving #2

We did Thanksgiving with my family this Sunday at my sisters. It was nice, we had soooo much food!

Every one got to hold Bray and Kayla got to run around like a crazy person. I miss my family, they are awesome. Here are some pics of the kids with my dad, sister and brother. If Kayla looks sick, it's because she has pink eye!

Jake

This is a really good picture! Yes, he is the dumbest dog ever, and eats just about anything (including electronics) but he's still part of the family. Hey! Off the couch!

Gingerbread house

I came up with the idea to make a gingerbread house every year as a family. It was a lot harder then I thought it would be! But after a lot of work and 4 hours later, this is our masterpiece. Kayla ate more than she decorated but it isn't bad for our first one. (yikes!)
:-)

Our Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day we went to Alan's grandparents farm. It was our first big family gathering since Brayden was born, so everyone got to hold and see him. It was so nice to see everyone and spend some time together. There was even a baby donkey there, that Kayla loved! She got to pet it and see lots of animals up close. Afterwards, we went to a Thanksgiving dinner with his dad and Sonia's family and friends. Her cousin Andrew is almost 3 so they always have a blast together. It was such a nice day and everyone slept really well that night!

Giving Thanks

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I have taken a moment to be thankful for the things in my life. Of course the thing I am most thankful for, is family. My family and then our family. It is truly a beautiful thing and I am so blessed. We have two beautiful, healthy, brilliant children and that is a blessing within itself. The Lord has blessed us so abundantly and I really could not ask for more.

Kayla's Thanksgiving party

We had our Thanksgiving party today at Kayla's school. There was a ton of food and Kayla had fun wtih all her class friends. I think she really enjoys her class, I know she absolutely loves her teachers. I really like her teachers and all the parents, I have another mom helping me out with being a ''room mom'' and she's really sweet. Kayla will have her Christmas one her in a couple weeks. My how the time flies! Now all I have to is figure out how I'm going to entertain her next week while they are on Thanksgiving break!

Brady's First Cereal

I've gotta tell you, it was a MESS! I spoon fed him cereal AND put some in his bottle before bed, and he STILL woke up hungry a couple hours later. GAH.

Oh yeah...

I have to add this little doozie. I went to get

Kayla from her nap one day, and she was naked, wrapped in a blanket and sleeping in her dress up box. Can't really tell ya what that's about. She's gotten into this phase lately, when she's in her room for nap time, she takes off all her clothes... and now she likes to stand in front of the window. Oh my.....

Daddy of the Year

The things Dad's do to entertain. This is daddy's silly play dough face, Kayla thought it was hilarious!!

Fathers, Lock up your daughters

Four months old, and already a heart breaker. Bray got to play with twins and he certainly had a good time. They took turns sucking on each others hands and talking to each other. Oh man, my little guy is going to be trouble isn't he?

Brayden's Dedication

Today we had Brayden's dedication at our church. He looked sooooo cute in his little suit!! What a blessing he is and I hope that he will know and love the Lord at an early age. It was a beautiful service and he did great. That's my boy!
